Symposium Renewables and Decarbonization of the Electricity Grid

Domestic and international experts  were invited to examine how the grid should be designed for decarbonization through renewables.  Various topics were addressed and discussed; such as how the grid system should be consistent with climate goals, integration cost issues and hydrogen thermal power/storage batteries for flexible demand, to explore the path to realizing a 100% renewables grid system in Japan.
