  • Paul Dickinson
    Executive Chair, CDP
    Paul founded CDP in 2000 with an ambition of creating a global economic system that operates within sustainable environmental boundaries and prevents dangerous climate change. Paul previously founded Rufus Leonard Corporate Communications and EyeNetwork, the largest videoconference service in Europe. He served as a member of the Environmental Research Group of the UK Faculty and Institute of Actuaries. Paul has authored various publications, including the book Beautiful Corporations published in 2000 by Financial Times Prentice Hall. This book introduced the concept of sustainability product marketing which is growing in significance as a force in contemporary commerce. Paul is also a Trustee and Deputy Chair of the NGO ShareAction as well as a Trustee of the Findhorn Foundation and an advisor to the NGO Influence Map. He is a founder and director of the insulation company CosyHome. Paul has a passion for fiber optic broadband and the dematerialization of economic growth.
  • Fiona Reynolds
    Managing Director, PRI
    Fiona joined the PRI in 2013. She has overall responsibility for the PRI’s operations globally.
    Fiona has more than 20 years' experience in the pension sector, working in particular with the Australian government, and has played a key role in advocating pension policy change on behalf of working Australians. Fiona has a particular interest in retirement outcomes for women.
    Prior to joining the PRI, Fiona spent seven years as Chief Executive Officer at the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST). Fiona has formerly been a director of AUSfund, Industry Funds Credit Control, Australia for UNHCR and the National Network of Women in Super. In September 2012, she was named by the Australian Financial Review as one of Australia’s top 100 women of influence for her work in public policy.
    Fiona also serves on the Councils of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), Tomorrow’s Company, the Global Advisory Council on Stranded Assets at Oxford University and the Business for Peace Steering Committee.

  • Junichiro Mihara
    CEO, Representative Director, RJ Investment Co. Ltd
    Jun Mihara is the Executive Officer of Renewable Japan Energy Infrastructure Fund listed in the Tokyo Stock Exchange Infrastructure market (TSE 9283), and CEO of RJ Investment Co. managing this fund.
    He was previously a Managing Director at Alliance Bernstein responsible for institutional investor relations. Prior to this, he was a CIO of ZAIS Japan Ltd, responsible for investments, and prior to this, he was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch as sole head of structured finance business in Japan. He started his career at Industrial Bank of Japan in 1987.
    Mihara holds BA in economics from International Christian University, and MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
  • Ryuichi Horie
    CEO, CSR Design Green Investment Advisory, Co. Ltd
    Horie is Co-founder and CEO of CSR Design Green Investment Advisory, Co., Ltd., which focuses on advisory on ESG integration in the real estate and infrastructure sectors as well as research with respect to green building policies and market. He has extensive experience in finance – he worked for IBJ and Merrill Lynch, and also served as Managing Director responsible for structured finance including renewable energy funds at Deutsche Bank.
    Horie is a graduate of The University of Tokyo's Faculty of Law, and obtained an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. He is also a Lecturer at J.F. Oberlin University, and has been a chairperson of several committees with regards to ESG investment hosted by Japanese Ministry of Land Infrastructure Transport and Tourism. Horie is also a chairperson of the Property and Infrastructure Working Groups of PRI Japan Network, and serves as an Advisor for UNEP FI Property Working Group.

  • Christine Lins
    Executive Secretary, REN21 (Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century)
    Christine Lins was appointed as Executive Secretary of REN21, Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century, in July 2011. REN21 is a global public-private multi-stakeholder network on renewable energy regrouping international organizations, governments, industry associations, science and academia as well as NGOs working in the field of renewable energy. REN21 has its headquarters at UNEP, the United Nations Environment Programme in Paris/France.
    Between 2001 and 2011, she served for 10 years as the Secretary General of the European Renewable Energy Council (EREC), the united voice of Europe’s renewable energy industry. Ms. Lins has more than 20 years of working experience in the field of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency. Previously, she worked in a regional energy agency in Austria promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. Ms. Lins holds a Masters degree in international economics and applied languages.
  • Takuya Yamazaki

    After joining the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) in 1996, as the first assignment in METI, Mr. Takuya Yamazaki involved in the Second Electricity System Reform of Japan in 1999, which introduced retail competition and secured open access to transmission lines of incumbent power companies for new entrants. After that, Mr. Yamazaki has been assigned to a wide range of policy matters including building a scheme to promote entrepreneurship, establishing National Information Security Center to enhance Japan’s information security and developing FTA frameworks between Japan and Asian countries, and promoting the concept of exporting Japanese infrastructure business abroad such as water and power generation. From 2012 to 2015, as Director for Electricity Market Reform, Mr. Yamazaki was in charge of the Japan’s electricity system reform project, which introduces full retail competition and unbundling transmission and distribution sectors of the incumbents etc..
    In his current capacity since 2016, Mr. Yamazaki has been tackling with the challenges to integrate properly renewable energy to Japanese electricity market.
    Mr. Yamazaki received BA in Law from Univ. of Tokyo in 1996 and MA in International Public Policy from School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) John’s Hopkins University in 2007. He held visiting scholarship at Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies of SAIS in 2008.
  • Hideyuki Kanemitsu

    Joined Fujitsu Limited in 1987. Developed some technologies for wafer process for 15 years as an engineer in Semiconductor Development Division. Moved to Corporate Environment Strategy Unit and promoted environmental activities such as energy-saving at factories, facilities and data centers accross Fujitsu group. Between 2008 and 2012, transferred to Brussel office. Researched European environment policies and carried out lobbying activity across Europe.
    Vice President of Green Management Division of Corporate Environmental Strategy Unit in 2013, Vice President of Green Business Innovation Division in 2015, and Head of Corporate Environmental and CSR Strategy Unit in 2017.
  • Ken Isono
    Representative Director, Shizen Energy Inc.
    After graduating an undergraduate university, Ken joined Recruit Co., Ltd. where he worked as advertisement sales representative. Later he joined a wind power company and covered from development to construction and maintenance of wind farms across Japan. In June 2011, he established Shizen Energy Inc., appointing himself to its representative director. He currently leads new project development, and co-leads juwi Shizen Energy Inc. founded in January 2013, as one of its directors. Ken holds MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School.

  • Takejiro Sueyoshi

    After graduating from University of Tokyo, Takejiro Sueyoshi joined the Mitsubishi Bank (the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ) in 1967 and worked for the bank until 1998.
    During his years with Nikko Asset Management as Deputy President, he was appointed as a member of the UNEP FI Steering Committee. In addition to the involvement in the UNEP FI activities in the Asia Pacific Region, he is giving many educational speeches about environmental problems and CSR/SRI in various government councils, seminars, universities and TV programs. He is a Trustee member of Carbon Disclosure Project. He was a member of the Council for Japan’s Prime Minister on Climate Change Policy. His publications include “Ondanka Kogi (A lecture on Global Warming)” (Toyo Keizai), “Yugai Rensa (Chain of Harmfulness)” (Gentousha), “Green New Deal” (Editor,Kankyou Shinbun), “Saishin CSR Jijyo( The Newest Book on CSR)”(Hokuseido).
  • Teruyuki Ohno
    Executive Director, Renewable Energy Institute
    Before joining Renewable Energy Institute in August 2013, Teruyuki Ohno served as the Director General of the Bureau of Environment, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, for three years, covering a broad range of environmental issues including energy, climate change, waste management, pollution control, natural environment, and sustainable development. His notable achievements include reducing air pollution and PM emissions through “No Dirty Diesel Vehicle Strategy in Tokyo”, and implementing Japan’s first Cap-and-Trade Program in Tokyo in 2008, involving the industries and building a grand consensus. His active leadership in promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency has formed the foundation of Tokyo’s energy policy. He was awarded Haagen-Smit Clean Air Awards by California Air Resources Board in 2014. His latest publication is "Energy Strategies of Municipality Governments" (Iwanami, 2013, Japanese). He also serves as part-time lecturer at the University of Tokyo, and a member of Seoul International Energy Advisory Council (SIEAC).
  • Mika Ohbayashi

    Mika Ohbayashi is a founding member and Director at Renewable Energy Institute since August 2011. Before joining the Institute, Ohbayashi worked for International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in Abu Dhabi as Policy and Project Regional Manager for Asia Oceania. She served as Deputy Director at Institute for Sustainable Energy Policies for 8 years since its establishment in 2000. She also worked for UKFCO at the British Embassy to Japan, as Advisor for Climate Change Projects and Policies before joining IRENA, and started her carrier in the energy field by joining Citizens' Nuclear Information Center in 1992. She coordinates many scientific study projects, takes leadership to team up various networks including national parliamentarians and local authorities, domestically and internationally to improve sustainable energy society. She was awarded the Global Leadership Award in Advancing Solar Energy Policy by the International Solar Energy Society (ISES) in 2017.
