As the Asia-Pacific region rapidly expands its offshore wind capacity, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan face many shared challenges, including fragmented regulatory frameworks, supply chain constraints, and the need for stronger coordination.
This seminar brought together speakers from civil service organizations across the three economies to share the latest developments, successful approaches, and lessons learned. By fostering open dialogue and sharing respective experiences, we aimed to identify practical ways to unlock the full potential of offshore wind and ensure it becomes firmly established in the local communities.
This seminar was held in Nagasaki alongside the Global Offshore Wind Summit Japan (GOWS-J) and was co-hosted with Ocean Energy Pathway Japan.
