
Renewable Energy Institute, together with UMITO Partners, Global Offshore Wind Alliance (GOWA) and Ocean Conservancy, hosted an official side event during the 10th Our Ocean Conference (OOC) in Busan, Republic of Korea which took place from 28 to 30 April 2025.
This event explored how offshore wind can be developed in harmony with other ocean users, particularly fisheries and coastal communities, through positive collaboration with local communities, effective marine spatial planning and other measures, ensuring coexistence that safeguards marine ecosystems supports the livelihoods of fishers and promotes long-term ocean health.
