Innovative energy efficiency and distributed energy resources empower cities to lead the fight against climate change. 

Renewable Energy Institute, together with Delta Electronic Foundation, hosted a side event on 5 December during the 2018 UN Climate Change Conference (COP24) which is taking place in Katowice, Poland from 2 to 14 December.

The side event focused on relevant urban policies and practices that facilitate decarbonization and resilience in the building and the transport sector.
